Aaron enjoys Irish fiddling, and has toured with the Irish Tenors and performanced in some of Ireland’s famous pubs. Additionally, he can be heard on the “Mists of Ennistymon” CD, recorded by Dannsair. Harking back to his Jewish roots, he has performed as a Klezmer musician in venues such as the Memorial Art Gallery in Rochester, NY.
Aaron is a dedicated teacher, and has held teaching positions at a variety of community music schools, public schools, and summer camps. He is a registered Suzuki teacher, having studied Suzuki Book 1 pedagogy with Ann Montzka-Smelser and Book 2 pedagogy with Stevie Sandven.
Aaron holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music where he studied with the late Zvi Zeitlin, and he has had additional instruction from David Perry, Charles Castleman and Mathias Tacke.
